The opening track off the pioneering Sri Lankan band independent Square. In a time of civil war, unorthodox cricket, and the lack of originality, five guys got together with one common goal: to release original Sri Lankan music. The album "Bring Back the Sun" was recorded with limited resources and equipment, but it embodies the force that inspired hundreds of kids around the city of Colombo to pick up guitars and want to write their own music - more than a decade later, it still resonates with raw hope.
